Anton de Sousa Costa is a multifaceted creator based in Cape Town, South Africa. He works across the craft of stone masonry, conceptual art and photography, blending visual expression with hands‑on engagement with natural materials. Anton’s photographic practice reflects a deep curiosity about form, texture, and the interplay between light and landscape, while his stonework channels the same artistic sensibility into physical, enduring structures that shape outdoor environments. With a unique combination of aesthetic insight and practical skill, Anton creates work that not only captures imagination but also connects people to the natural world through thoughtful, tactile design.
LYNEVE PIETERSE
Lyneve joined the Elem team in 2025 as our Project Coordinator. With a background in retail planning for leading corporates and experience running her own businesses, she brings experience across project planning, coordination and day-to-day operations.
As Project Coordinator, Lyneve works across Elem’s projects, coordinating timelines, communication and logistics to help ensure projects progress smoothly from planning through to completion. She works closely with clients, suppliers and the internal team, managing the moving parts of each project and supporting the wider team as Elem continues to grow.

Eric has been proudly associated with Elem Stone and Garden for more than 17 years, playing an integral role in the day-to-day operations, project management and supervision of our projects. Over the years, he has developed an extensive understanding of the industry, combining in-depth knowledge of the craft with valuable hands-on experience and a strong commitment to maintaining the highest standards of workmanship.
